SATURDAY, AUGUST 13
5pm
All three major political parties govern in the name of the 1-2% of Americans who have received pretty much all the proceeds of economic growth, who are the only people completely recovered from the 2008 recession, who control the political system, and who control almost all financial wealth.
FOUR HUNDRED AMERICANS have more wealth than HALF of ALL Americans combined!
One cruise missile could pay 10 teacher’s salaries for a year!
Two-thirds of all American companies pay absolutely ZERO taxes!
More African American men are in prison, on probation or parole than were enslaved in 1850, before the Civil War began!
The word “corporation” doesn’t exist anywhere in our Constitution!
What’s wrong with this picture?
WE NEED JOBS, HEALTH CARE & EDUCATION! NOT CONTINUED BUDGET CUTS, PRISONS AND WAR
We, the other 98%, don’t feel represented by any of our elected politicans, and therefore, we call for an:
